Our Commitment

Privacy at Tablegane Is Not Just a Legal Checkbox

A lot of platforms put a privacy policy page up because they have to. At Tablegane, we put this page up because we think every Filipino player deserves to know exactly what happens with their personal information when they register and play with us.

When you create a Tablegane account, you share some personal details with us — your name, contact information, payment channel, and more. You trust us to handle that responsibly. This policy is our way of being transparent about how we hold up that trust. No jargon, no vague language — just a clear explanation of our data practices written in a way that actually makes sense.

Tablegane operates in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations. As a data controller, Tablegane takes its obligations under this legislation seriously and has implemented the processes and safeguards required to protect every registered player's personal data.

1 Who We Are

As a platform operating in the Philippines, Tablegane is subject to the requirements of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and takes its obligations under that legislation seriously.

4 Legal Basis for Processing

Tablegane processes your personal data on the following legal bases as defined under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable data protection principles:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing required to operate your Tablegane account and deliver the services you have signed up for — including account management, game access, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable Philippine laws — including anti-money laundering regulations, identity verification requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Legitimate interest: Processing necessary for fraud prevention, platform security, and responsible gaming monitoring — activities that are in the interest of both Tablegane and its players.
  • Consent: Processing for direct marketing communications where you have given explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your account access.

5 Data Sharing

Tablegane does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We share data only with trusted parties necessary for operating the platform, and only to the extent required for each specific purpose.

Payment Processors

To process your GCash, Maya, bank transfer, or card transactions, Tablegane shares relevant payment and identity information with certified Philippine payment processors. These processors operate under their own data protection obligations and are not permitted to use your data for unrelated purposes.

Identity Verification Partners

To fulfil our KYC and AML obligations, Tablegane may share identity documents and verification data with licensed identity verification service providers. These partners process your data solely for verification purposes and under strict data handling agreements with Tablegane.

Regulatory & Law Enforcement Authorities

Where required by Philippine law or a valid legal order, Tablegane may disclose account information or transaction records to regulatory bodies, law enforcement, or government agencies. We will only disclose the minimum information necessary to satisfy the legal requirement.

Platform Infrastructure Providers

Tablegane uses third-party cloud infrastructure, analytics, and technical service providers to run the platform. These providers act as data processors operating under contractual obligations to handle player data securely and in accordance with Tablegane's instructions only.

No selling of data: Tablegane will never sell your personal information to advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third party for commercial gain. Your data exists to operate and improve the platform — nothing else.

6 Data Retention

Tablegane retains your personal data for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and thereafter for as long as required by applicable Philippine regulations.

  • Active accounts: Data is retained throughout the lifetime of your account and remains accessible to you at all times.
  • Transaction records: Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction in compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
  • KYC documents: Identity verification documents are retained for the period required under applicable Philippine regulations, typically five (5) years from account closure.
  • Closed accounts: Following account closure, basic account and transaction records are retained for the regulatory minimum period before secure deletion.
  • Marketing data: Where consent has been withdrawn for marketing, relevant data is removed from active marketing databases within a reasonable period.

When data is no longer required and there is no legal obligation to retain it, Tablegane deletes or anonymises it securely.

7 Data Security

Tablegane takes the security of your personal data seriously. We implement a range of technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure, or modification.

Technical Measures

  • All data transmitted between your device and the Tablegane platform is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
  • Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing — not in plain text.
  • Access to player data by Tablegane staff is restricted on a need-to-know basis with role-based access controls.
  • Platform infrastructure is hosted on secure servers with regular security patching and monitoring.

Organisational Measures

  • Tablegane staff with access to player data are subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Security procedures are reviewed and updated regularly.
  • Data breach response procedures are in place — in the event of a breach affecting your data, Tablegane will notify affected players as required under Philippine law.

While Tablegane takes every reasonable step to protect your data, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security. Players are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and using strong, unique passwords.

10 Children's Privacy

The Tablegane platform is strictly for adults. The minimum age to register and play on Tablegane is 21 years old, in line with Philippine online gaming regulations. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 21.

If Tablegane becomes aware that an account has been created by someone below the minimum age, that account will be closed immediately and any deposits will be refunded to the original payment method. If you believe a minor may have registered on Tablegane, please contact us at support@tablegane.com immediately.

11 Responsible Gaming & Data

Tablegane uses certain player data specifically to support responsible gaming. This includes monitoring account activity for patterns that may indicate problem gambling behaviour — such as rapid increases in deposit frequency or significant changes in betting patterns.

Where such patterns are detected, Tablegane may take proactive steps including sending informational communications, prompting players to review their deposit limits, or flagging the account for responsible gaming review by our team. This processing is carried out in the interest of player welfare and constitutes a legitimate interest under the Data Privacy Act.

Player data used for responsible gaming monitoring is handled with particular care. It is not shared with third parties except where required to fulfil legal obligations, and it is retained only for as long as necessary to serve its protective purpose.

Your wellbeing matters: The responsible gaming tools at Tablegane — deposit limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion — are available directly from your account settings. Visit our Responsible Gaming page to learn more.

Tablegane may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, changes in applicable law, or improvements to the platform. When material changes are made, we will notify registered players by email or through a visible notice on the platform before the changes take effect.

The updated policy will always be available at tablegane.com/privacy-policy with the effective date clearly stated at the top. Continued use of the Tablegane platform after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the updated policy, please contact support to discuss your options.
